Tūve Jānsone "Vēlu novembrī" / Tove Jansson "Late in November"

(Ikviena Tūves Jānsones grāmata no trollīša Mumina sērijas ir baudījums sajūtām un prātam. Patiesībā tā ir dziļi filozofiska literatūra, lai gan kļūdaini tiek uzskatīta par bērnu grāmatu (bērniem jau arī patiks (dažiem), tas ir tāds Kastaņeda skandināvu gaumē - pieklusināts, atturīgs, bet tikpat niansētām emocijām un atklājumiem bagāts. Un atklājumu tur ir daudz. Ko tik kolorītie personāži, piemēram, Murmulis vai Svilpaste, neatklāj paši par sevi un citiem...turklāt šajā grāmatā aprakstītais laiks - vēls novembris - jau šādām refleksijām ir piemērotākais. Visu lieliski papildina pašas autores ilustrācijas, lai savu iztēloto varoni varētu salīdzināt ar autores iedomāto.

Each book by Tove Jansson from the Moomin troll series is a pure enjoyment for the senses and the mind. Actually it is a deeply philosophical literature although it is mistaken as a children’s book (well, some kids will like it), this book is more like Castaneda in the Scandinavian style – quiet, reserved, toned down but still rich in subtle emotional nuances and discoveries of the mind.  And there is lot to be discovered. The colorful and eccentric characters discover so much about themselves and others...also the timing of the book is perfect for reflections – story takes place late in November in the Moomin valley.)
